Residential property refers to single family dwellings, including condominiums and townhouses, and multi-family residential properties of 3 or less dwelling units.
This tax estimator tool can help you do two things:
- By entering the property assessment from your
Assessment Notice in the box below and clicking on the Estimate Tax button, you can estimate the effect a change in market value would have on your property taxes, or
- By entering the property assessment value from your
Assessment Notice and by selecting values for the preliminary Municipal Tax Increase (4.92%, as passed by
Council in December) and Provincial Tax Increase buttons, you can see the estimated effect that budget increases may have on your tax bill.*
Note: The municipal budget and provincial education tax amounts will not be finalized until May
